Disability Essex Helpline
The Disability Essex Helpline provides a focal point from which disabled people, their carers and dependants can obtain disability related information. Our volunteers will signpost callers to additional, or other, sources of information where appropriate. Service providers also benefit from the supplementary information that Disability Essex provides.
Our Helpline is accredited by DIAL-UK, the national network of disability information providers. This means that our advice service is professionally assessed, that we meet the highest standards and are able to access DIAL-UK's national database.
Volunteers
As our Helpline volunteers are disabled (a requirement of DIAL-UK) this enables them to bring their personal experience and understanding to our advice service for the benefit of users and clients.
