Local hospice charity - not just for cancer. It provides: day therapy (100% funded by the charity), outpatient clinics, a community team and an inpatient unit. Headstart is a service for patients with treatment-induced hairloss. The Positive Living Programme is a 6-week support programme for patients and their carers. Outpatient clinics include ones for pain management, medical assessment, psychological support, lymphoedema, complementary therapies and bereavement support. Macmillan nurses and The Home Hospice Nursing Service work from ARH. Hospice at Home Service is funded by South Cambs and Cambridge City PCTs. Inpatient unit is for episodes of symptom control and/or rehabilitation or terminal care in an inpatient setting. There is also an Education & Training Department. The charity has an active fundrasing programme (including a shop on Regent Street, cambridge) and donations (and volunteers) are always very welcome.
