Chrysalis School for Autism provides a full-time education for pupils between the ages of 5 and 16 years of age who are on the autistic spectrum and may have a diagnosis of related disorders. Children attending Chrysalis would normally have a Statement of Special Educational Needs and a guarantee of Local Authority funding unless exceptional circumstances applied (eg. parents temporarily resident in this country who have alternative means of funding). Chrysalis can also accommodate children and young people with Aspergers syndrome who have issues attending school or may have been excluded.
