Their aim is to help elderly and infirm people on very low incomes to live independently in their own homes. When this is no longer possible, they can help with residential or nursing home fees. Rukba helps those over 60 (or over 40 and unable to work through disability) who are resident in the British Isles and who have capital and income below a certain level. Rukba provides a small additional income for life unless there is a considerable improvement in the beneficiaries financial circumstances. Assistance with nursing or residential home fees. Homes - Rukba has two nursing and one residential home of its own as well as eight bungalows for less able people and 24 flats.
