Description:
Working in partnership with Essex Supporting People Team they have developed a specialised floating support service for people with learning disabilities. They aim to promote independence, assist individuals to sustain their tenancies or access accommodation and encourage involvement in the community. The service is free. The aim of the service is not to do things for you but to work with you whilst you gain the skills and confidence to be able to deal with issues on your own. The service is available throughout Essex to tenants(of Swan and other Housing Associations, Councils and private landlords), homeowners, people living with friends and family or in temporary accommodation or homeless. Access to the service is in two ways.Either by being referred by a social worker/teacher/doctor/carer or by contacting them yourself.First Prev | 1 Next Last
