Face 2 Face is a network of trained volunteer befrienders who can help parents make positive adjustments to the news that their child has a disability. Face 2 Face is free and confidential. A befriender can either visit you at home or you can agree another convenient location. It is an informal and flexible arrangement designed to suit you. They support parents of children with any type of disability or special need.

Voluntary organisation which offers the following services to adults with learning difficulties: •Day Services (including outreach) •Friendship Scheme •Adult Placement Scheme (recruiting carers to offer long-term residential placements and respite care) •Guideposts Shop - work training project •Arts Cafe - work training project •Community Activity Scheme and Leisure Projects The Friendship Scheme recruits and trains volunteers to be a friend to an adult with learning difficulties, matching people with similar hobbies/interests and personalities. Volunteers are also needed to help the shop managers and students in the Guideposts shop and cafe; and to support small groups of adults with learning difficulties who get together in the evening through the Community Activity Scheme and Leisure Project.
