Friday Lunch Club
About the Club
The Friday Lunch Club is a social lunch club that is part of Loughton Union Church's Christian outreach.
It is for housebound and elderly people in the whole of the Loughton area. Transport is available with wheelchair access at a small charge.
The club meets every Friday at 9.30 - 2.45pm in the day care centre, term time only.
The club also hold day trips to local places of interest. Past trips have included; canal boat trips, pub lunches, cream teas and a trip to Southend, there is also occasional entertainment organised.
The club has around 36 members and always welcomes both new members and volunteers.
